EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is basically a memory reprocessing therapy and looks to change the way we associate and hold on to old traumatic memories. The emotional energy locked in these traumatic memories are often powering our negative beliefs about ourselves and the world around us.
